Cleaning Furnaces

Recently, I got a call from a local company asking if I want my furnace and ducts cleaned. The price is reasonable. However, I have a concern.
Are these people honest? What if they deliberately break something and then "suggest" I should have it fixed? Has anyone ever encounter such problems?
