Campground recommendations!?

I would love a seasonal spot somewhere that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!! It doesn't need to be anything fancy but swimming is a must so there needs to be a lake or a pool. And preferably within an hour drive from brandon. Everywhere I have checked out so far is $600 a month or more!! Thanks

Go to Neepawa a or Wawanesa . Both have nice pool . Souris is also pretty good.

Are you looking for all conveniences?

or are you looking to camp off the grid?

Do you want a quiet family campground or a place to party?

Have no idea what their rates are, but the campground area and beach are really nice.

Minnedosa is around $1800 for the season. Similar to most.

Wawanesa is cheaper, not sure on neepawa.

We pay under $2000 for ours at oak lake. Our season is from May 1 to October 1. Although water is turned on/off according to weather. It's full service at all sites (something I wouldn't do without lol). Works out to be $400 a month.

Are a couple spots left at "The Lookiut RV park" at pelican lake. 40 minute drive from Brandon, has water, 30amp service and sewer, heated pool, beach, miniature golf basketball court all within 3 minute drive. Seasonal lots are around 1550 per year. Should go for a drive and check it out. This is our 3rd year there and love it.
