I've heard in other cities people buying and selling bitcoins (Internet currency) and I wonder if anyone has taken that up here in Brandon?

You'll have to forgive me as i am a bit ignorant on the whole "bitcoin" banwagon.

What are they? How do they work? Where and how do you get them? How dobyou trade them in? Etc.

It is a digital currency that is decentralized, can be used to purchase items online , and traded for other currencies. Bitcoins are very hard to trace and therefore are often used by cyber criminals such as "The Silk Road"
