I taught overseas

Hi,
I taught overseas in Korea. My recommendation would be to go with a public school rather than a private school. I have heard of private schools closing down because they aren't making enough money. Public schools will allow for much more job security, and will be a lot less stressful, and a better work environment. you will also need to know before you go that you will be teaching in a culture that is completely different than the one you know. It can be a bit shocking when you get there, but it is 100% worth it! It will change your life in the best way!
If you do your research about locations, you will do great! You can get jobs in big cities or smaller, rural areas. I taught in a smaller city, but knew a lot of people who taught in Seoul, and they also loved it. The smaller cities just have a closer knit expat community. Where are you looking at going to teach?
It is a great way to get out and see another part of the world, and gives you a ample opportunities to travel around another continent as well. I have friends who went to teach overseas, and have been there for almost a decade now! They love it!
Let me know if you have any other questions!
