there was a few people i know that have applied and never got a call or noting has anyone got a job interview or call back?? it sounds like a good job are they open or still constructing???

We live in the Swan Valley and haven't even heard about a paper mill. Are you sure you have your facts correct? As far as I know there is no such thing. Louisiana Pacific has an OSB mill and they are building an addition to their products which I believe will be a siding mill, however I've never heard of a "paper mill".

There's one in The Pas, Tolko paper.

Swan Valley is the name for Swan River and the encompassing area and towns that fall in that area.

Maybe you are referring to the lumber mill? Spruce products ltd?

just to correct-the town of Swan River is only twenty minutes away from us and is IN the Swan River Valley and both my wife and my son work there, so I believe I know what I'm talking about.

I've got a papper mill in my kitchen. Or is it a pepper mill... back on topic.  
 
The place your are asking about is LP Building Products mill near Minitonas, Manitoba. The plant was constructed in the mid-1990's, is referred to as LP Swan Valley, and is currently completing modifications to change the facility from producing OSB (Oriented Strand Board) to LP Smartside.  
 
If you have questions about the job or your application, it would probably be best to contact the HR department at the mill directly.  
 

ya that papper mill near swain river mantoba. we had to fill out there papper work and fax it back. i was just asking to see if the construction on the expansion was done. it seems like a good job 4 days on 4 days off. is it hard to get on?? what is the job turnover like????

I don't think that Louisiana Pacific has the new part finished yet and in operation, but I could be wrong. Anyone that I've known over the years who worked for LP were quite happy working there as far as I know. It's only about 3 hours and a little bit from Brandon-would be worth the trip to see the place and get a better idea.  

well that good to know any info is better then no info lol so does anyone seen the add in the bradon sun i figured they be hiring or interviewing right away but everyone i ask or talk to never got call for interview or noting or is it just people in the north first??
