I seriously need help.

I have black tunic top, recently bought(!!!!!)which got some cleanser spray on it & now has "bleached" marks on it. It's 80%cotton & 20% polyester. I tried dying it black - looked good until it was done it's wash & rinse cycles. Now the light - & I do mean LIGHT - marks are still there. Any ideas please? It's quite new & I LOVE it!!
