    Looking for anyone who is a Commission of Oath, or someone who knows someone that is, that would be willing to sign paperwork after daytime working hours. We have a group of folks that need some documents signed. If anyone has information that would assist us, please let me know.

    usually has to be done by a notary public or lawyer. A commission for oaths is not a notary so chances are depending on your documents a commissioner for oaths cannot do this. I have my Commissioner for Oaths, however am not a notary public. Best bet would be go to a lawyer and have them properly witnessed and signed.

    The OP didn't say anything about notarizing documents, just that they need a Commissioner for Oaths to sign their documents. There are lots of situations that call for a Commissioner for Oaths, without needing a Notary or a lawyer.

    Bankers, priests ministers and reverends have that authority. Postmaster does too.
