Former Employee of this bar

I cannot comment on what happened in the night in question, however, I did work at the bar for about 7 years. I worked in every level, including Management. When I was a bouncer, there was 7-8 bouncers on busy nights and 5-6 on slower nights. Our rule was to always keep other bouncers in view, and typically there was 2 bouncers over looking the dance floor, we also had radio to maintain contact. This was also when we wore cowboy hats and it was easy to spot other bouncers. However, it can be difficult to see with a crowded dance floor, even with 2 sets of eyes. Now, when I worked there, there was no major injuries to customers, but there was one just before I started when a customer had leg broken directly or indirectly by a bouncer (as per the customers veiw point). That case was taken to the courts, and I don't remember the outcome. When I was there, there was always pressure from Management not to use excessive force when handling a situation. I am proud to say that I never threw one punch as a bouncer there. Now, this has nothing to do with this situation, but some women seemed to know that bouncers had not recourse on them, so they would hit, spit an kick us. Just a little insight from the other side, from 10 years ago.
