If it's not directly on top of it sealing it off, all it will mean is that your air flow will be a bit restricted, as it will have to travel out from under the bed. It's really not that big of a deal. We have a dresser that is over top of a vent, but it has legs on it, so it just means that the air does not go straight up, but out from under the dresser. I think a lot of people run in to this problem, especially if the room is small. Not a lot of options for furniture placement sometimes.
