Class 1A training options?

Besides paying the 3 grande(+) to get hours behind the wheel is there anywhere anyone knows to help a person get training for their class 1? I am looking for options to help me get some training behind the wheel. I already have my 1A learners.. just need to get some time. Any helpful information would be appreciated.

MPI has a program you can use to get your class 1 .

I am aware of that program. The thing is you are required to sign a 2 year contract with a company. Thing is they have you over a barrel for 2 years... I was hoping to avoid that

Try vm transport in minnedosa, he hires new drivers all the time..or did. Flat deck and oversized loads ( machinery etc) what they haul alot of. Ask for Wim he's the owner. Good luck

Your going to need 2 or more years experience before you can hit the market for the good jobs anyway,(even the good jobs aren't that great) so until then you have to start with the crappy dirty jobs, experienced drivers don't want. so no matter how you get your license your starting at the bottom your, not going to step into a kush pin to pin high mileage job with no experience.
