Do you consider Tagging a form of Art??? Do you find it to be a criminal act?  
 
This is what a business in Winnipeg is going through - maybe we need to have cameras installed around Brandon too - to catch these Taggers. What has been your experience with Taggers??? or when you see the Graffiti around ?

I believe there are many issues the Brandon City Police should take more seriously -  
 
Further to my thought - I want to share a situation of when I was approached by a lady cop and her partner - and when they spoke to me, they both reaked of Alcohol, and I asked them about that - cause it sure was not me having an alcoholic smell permeating when I talked. They denied even smelling alcohol - and looked at me as if I was stupid - when I got home, I called in to the Police station, and gave the officer there the tag numbers of the 2 I had just spoken too - and the officer on the phone laughed loudly and said "Really??? Well, we just had someone donate a whole bunch of BEER sausages to the precinct - and maybe they had been eating them. And I asked, "do you do Alcohol tests on your own officers?? And asked if that was a good role model to have out in the public"! . . . of course, that was just blown over, but had it been one of us citizens, I wonder how that would have been handled. KWIM??

you have an interesting story. They will protect each other but perhaps people got ticketed for alcohol should receive some refund back

Little scribbles to essentially say "I was here" is not art.  
 
Graffiti art - now that''s entirely different from tagging. However I do not agree with destruction of someone else's property without their explicit consent.

I'm calling you out because that couldn't have happened, at least not in recent years.  
 
Provide the date and time of when these cops talked to you because everything is monitored. The cars have GPS which is tracked by another department (not the BPS), radio transmissions are recorded, every call is documented. The officers are not going to put themselves in such a position of liability and neither are their coworkers or supervisors. In today's digital world, someone is always recording so there's no way a real cop would be allowed out reeking of liquor.  
 
When did you call into the station? Every phone call that goes into the BPS is recorded so that would be easy to verify. What was the female cops number? That too what be easy to verify and is public information so there's no reason not to post it.  
 
And I have never once heard a Brandon cop ever refer to their offices as a precinct, it is always the station or office.  
 
I think you've confused a 1970's TV show or movie with reality. You are making serious accusations against a our own city police so back it up with facts please. I'm pretty certain Chief Grant would like to get to the bottom of it too and as a taxpayer, I want it looked into if there is any truth to it.
