When I first signed up and got into the discussions a gentleman, Robert Booth was also a very early member.  
 
He had great thoughts, great writing style, a few good jokes, and as you read anything he posted, you could just tell he was an all and all good guy.  
 
I read tonight in the obituaries, a Robert Booth. Was wondering why he had not been posting for quite a while.

about his passing this morning. He was a member of the Brandon Hills Model Railroad Club and it's current President. So he will be missed.

I always enjoyed reading his jokes. Sad to hear of his passing

will be a celebration of life that will be held at the Victoria Inn July 7 from 2 to 4. It's being asked that if you attend, wear something red.

Could someone post the obituary please. Or is it in the Brandon Sun?

I was sad to read of Robert's passing. Though we never had the chance to get to know each other in person, his ability to express himself through his unique sense of humour on this site brought many a smile to this face and countless others and I know that he will be missed. To family and friends of Robert Booth please accept my condolences.

I''m so sorry to hear this. May he rest in peace. May his family live in comfort knowing he was a good man.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bob and his family throughout the years. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good guy. He will be missed.

You will be missed. You always had time to stop and chat. Will miss you comments especially on History.

I'm not sure why but when I was looking at eBrandon on my iPhone this thread came up. I didn't realize that Bob had passed away and I find this so sad to hear. Bob created the character of Sgt. Charles (Charlie) Booth for my novel series. I found it so much fun working on this character and having Bob tell me how Charlie would react to different circumstances. When I get back to writing again I plan to keep Charlie in the series but I will certainly miss being able to ask Bob for his ideas. RIP Mr. Booth.
