I have been trying to look up information about changing my last name. I'm not sure if its maybe my patience or what but i cant seem to find what i am looking for. So i was curious if anyone had any info or knows where to get it. My legal last name is my fathers, and i would like to change it to my moms. Does anyone know how to go about that? What kind of fees are involved? How long does it take?
Also when my baby is born i am planning on giving them my moms last name. Does anyone know if i am legally allowed to do this because its not my last name?
