I would like to send my cousin a sympathy floral arrangement in Consett, County Durham. I am wondering if anyone else has done this online and if you have a preferred company.

If you call your local florist, they should be able to arrange delivery over there for you. I belive it's called tele floral.

I am from England and regularly send flowers to my mum. I always use interflora.co.uk with my Canadian credit card. Always nice flowers and always great delivery.

I might go to our local florist but was wondering how hard it would be to do it myself online. Thanks to both of you for your replies, it it very much appreciated.

I went online and all has gone well except that it won't accept my phone number. I have added the 00+1 without any luck ... Do you know what I need to do to fix this?

We have recently begun using Costco UK. No need for a UK Costco membership. The quality has been excellent and the arrangements have been the usual Costco size! Have been very pleased with quality and delivery!  
(I recall entering my membership number but I don't believe it was required! Just make sure it's the www.costco.uk)

I'm glad you got it to work and happy to help. I send at least 4 bouquets a year with them. Never disappointed.

So happy to say the rose planted basket I sent to my cousin arrived to her home about three hours ago, and was delivered by the owner of the shop. I received a confirmation email a little while ago. I haven't seen a photo yet but I hear they are beautiful and might be able to be planted outside later (one reason I like to send plants for sympathy gifts). I will certainly use this company again. The cost appears to be less than what I ordered a plant for for a local funeral. And now that residents are charged duty (not sure if that is what it is called) on gifts received in England I will certainly be using this method again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
