    It has been 17 years since year 2000. Do you remember where you were in 1999?

    Change from farming to employee!

    Yes, after about 15 years of being a self-employed farmer, decided on a career change and started a new career at a new location! Eventually after a few years the family also moved, then last fall the new buyers of the original company I started with in 2000 decided to let our division go! So, started a new career in 2016!!

    I was in the Yukon. It was so cold that everything was frozen - cars, water pipes, skidoos, businesses, airport. Got so drunk I can't remember midnight, but at least I didn't freeze! Thank goodness I am older and wiser now, I certainly don't miss hangovers like the one I had the first day of 2000!!

    I was very fortunate to Host the "Y2k" party in the Viking Crown lounge/night club...  
    Not once, but TWICE as the Cruise Ship crossed the date and went back to 1999 and thus celebrated the Y2K twice.
