securing a flat screen TV to wall

Does anyone know what I can buy to secure a flat screen TV to a wall? Mounting the TV to a wall is not an option for me. I have called a couple of places open tonight but they have nothing in-store to purchase. I do plan on calling Television City in the morning to see what they have. Any ideas?

Do you mean you want the TV sitting on a stand as normal, but you want it secured so it can't be tipped over forwards? If so, I believe my TV came with a strap for that purpose that you could screw to the back of the stand. I threw mine out, but maybe some of the smaller TV stores like Television City or Aurora Video could help you out.

I did go and purchase a strap at Television City!
