Went out to my car to go to work at 3am and the back door to my car was ajar. Thieves took my small black duffel (w/blue stripes), had one of my work shirts and tie in it, and a small earbuds. Nothing else was taken. No damage to car. Lock your car doors. I forgot to lock mine after a long day.

Yep, with the warmer weather starting up all the useless Brandon dirt bags are coming out of hibernation. Sounds like you already know what to do so they don't get ya again! Also remember not to leave stuff in plain sight in your car. Take your wallet, purse, ipods, GPS, backpacks when you leave and ya lock your doors. They rarely smash a window to get in mostly just try doors until they found one that someone left open. Easy pickings unfortunately.

Have you considered a simple IP camera like for example the one at the link below? Good image quality, not that expensive and can be setup to detect motion on whatever area you set it to. It can then send you an email with a pic or video any time it detects motion, record it for review later or upload it to a hard drive somewhere:
