Photoshoot locations?

Anyone have ideas on unique locations to take grad photos? It doesn't have to be in Brandon, but preferably not too far of a drive. Grad attire is white and not typical 'fancy dress'. We're thinking 'big city/editorial' type of look....I know, I know....we are in a rural community, but a girl can dream, can't she ? :-)
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! TIA

How about the research centre? Had my engagement photos there and they turned out awesome

Do you mean along Grand Valley Road? We haven't lived here that long, so I'm still not totally familiar with places. Can you just go or do you have to make arrangements to be on their property?

I've seen wedding and engagement pictures taken there (the building with the columns) and they're are all beautiful.

Well if you want a big city look than I'd suggest downtown Brandon. I saw some amazing photos taken inside The Dock, try Prairie Firehouse, I've seen a few done outside by a neat wall ( one was light blue). If you have a good photographer they should know some good spots downtown, or be able to scope some out.

I've seen neat ones taken on the University grounds, under the 18th or 8th (I know its going to be torn down) bridges, downtown infront of buildings, common wealth air museum, gardens by Daly House museum etc

For everyone's suggestions. My daughter has a great camera and I'll be the photographer, so no professional is involved. We're winging it!LOL We'll do a drive around of the suggested areas and see what'll work.
