When they mark your vehicle tires which side do they usually mark drivers side or passenger side ?

I think they always mark the curb side, so they don’t have to go onto the street on one way streets.

well that seems strange yet they can go on the street to put the ticket under the driver's side wiper .but the tires get marked on curb side ummm

Whatever tire they feel like it. I watched by-law go around the town centre parkcade a couple of weeks ago marking random tires on vehicles and some were driver's side, some were passenger. Hell the lady even marked a few rear tires. I thought it was strange but they need to switch it up so people can't find and remove the marks.

strange marking tires on the curb side if your the driver no one else with you the marking should be on the driver's side where it's noticeable that just does not seem right .

Why does that matter? Why is it important to have the marking noticable on the driver's side?

I think they mark what ever tire they want to mark. Bylaw marked my driver side tire just a few weeks ago when I was parked downtown and I was parked on the right side of the street.

because the driver would notice the marks if the marks are on the passengers side he or she usually does not check for marked tires on passengers side .

But the marks aren't meant for anyone other than the Bylaw officer. The purpose isn't to warn the driver, it's to give a timeline for the officer.

it will show if you left and came back the mark will not be at the same place
