Hey everyone. Does anyone know if there is a service that goes down to border shipping services to pick up packages?

a while back a service ran by du rite motors in Boissevain I think or Killarney ran a courier called News.

They for businesses in Brandon did a once a week pick up
@ border services. Probably easier to do for them than for individuals. I am sure someone is still doing it. Yet for individuals?

I've watched enough "Border Wars" and "locked up abroad" to know that I would never pick something up and bring it across the border. Like what happens if a sketchy guy in Brandon orders a pound of dope and has it sent to the border? This guy mules it through customs and gets pinched, I don't see them being too lenient.

If I had to guess, I'd assume that they declare everything at the border as a 3rd party pickup, and that Customs probably searches the entire pickup.

The process is probably pretty similar to how the mail crosses the border.

I remember a guy back in the day working for this company doing border pick ups and clearing packages. May be for bigger freight now.
