Class 1 looking for work

Just wondering if there are any companies in the area that hire new drivers. Recently acquired Class 1 and now looking for work. Stuck in that cant get a job due to no experience, cant get experience due to no job.. Any tips would be appreciated.

did you try long haul? many many long haul companies will hire new drivers, even if they say 1 yr experience ect, just keep pounding the pavement, lots of jobs out there

If you aren't adverse to moving to Winnipeg, Bison takes new drivers and gives them additional training, leading to a full time job. They've been consistently rated as one of the best trucking companies in North America to work for. The only drawback is, like I said, they do require you to live in the Winnipeg area while in their "finishing program". Good luck.

Saw an add looking for drivers for the silage season, usually they have problems finding people because it's so seasonal, but could get maybe two months in and would get you experience and reference

Lots of jobs for new class 1

HI, you can try with V.m transport , minnidosa, also steve's livestock in brandon, but only long haul ....even if any class 1 job posting asking for 1 year exp... At least contact them , they will hire u....depend on there requirements. ... When I was new I started like this.....good luck ....
