I changed the belts and idler wheels in my Sanyo VCR 7200ii Betamax machine and now I'm having problems getting the tape to load. I don't think the loading mechanism is sitting properly. I know it's a long shot, but here goes...  
 
Is there anyone out there with VCR repair experience? Or...  
 
Does anyone have one of these machines that I can have a look at? Or...  
 
Does anyone have a copy of the service manual?

Uh, what year is it?

It was made in 1985.

There's a place on first street just off Richmond by Kuipers. If its still ran by the original guy he started out with Betamaxs
