Once again the americans are bullying the worlds economy into getting what they want. No more imports into the U.S. from canada,our largest trading partner?? How many jobs will we lose and how far will he go, as far as the mighty " made in China".  
Here is a scary scenerio for you. Suppose the Americans refuse outright to import any of our raw materials. This would force Canada to look for another market, and who has the fastest growing economy in the world?? China of course! So great the Chinese agree to buy all our raw materials,woo-hoo back in buisness! Ten, twenty years from now 2 things happen, one, america says they want our materials back and the chinese refuse to part with them. So america is either going to ask us or China very politely {and possibbly with a tank or two} to give it back.  
 
This is all just speculation of course, but not outside of the realm of possibility. I have nothing against Americans but I read a quote somewhere, you make your own decision " America is like a very large retarted boy prone to fits of violence"
