I seldom take a bus and dread the experience because few trips are without drama onboard. It's a demanding job being a bus driver, not just operating the vehicle, but interacting with the diverse nature of the riders. Nevertheless, when you work with the public you must restrain your frustrations and exercise patience, empathy and manners despite the urge to react. Most riders just want to get to where they are going.
