Looking for info on Brandon laws in the 1880's

Just wondering if anyone out there has any information about the Brandon laws in the early years (presently wanting the 1880's but will be looking for later years at another time). If you know of a link that would be great, or a book that maybe I could borrow from the library.
If you have a book maybe you could look a few things up for me???
I have been searching for some time now on-line with no luck so far.
