The first death at the Brandon General Hospital happened in 1892.

The first death recorded with in the brick walls of the new Brandon General Hospital happened on Tuesday June 14th 1892.
He was a Liverpool England native named Urh who passed away three days after being removed from a passenger train at the CPR Station.
