Another history search - first dentist in Brandon???

I am searching through my notes and trying to find out when Brandon's first dentist came to town. I typed out parts of "BGH 100 A History of Brandon General Hospital 1883-1983 by F Madeline Perry" for reference but when I get to the notes about the first doctor's names it is noted under "in 1884 there were 7 doctors and 1 dentist" ... there is no mention of when the dentist actually started practise. Also I have his name written down as F.E. Dairing and I think I made a typo (I know, should have double checked) but can not find info even on the mhs web site (and googled both Dr Dairing and Daring with no luck). Any help and/or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
