Sorry - another history question - original CPR line

Hopefully I will be able to quit asking these questions soon but eBrandon usually has the answers for me quickly. I spent most of the evening last night trying to find a map or information as to the route the CPR line took travelling east from Winnipeg in the 1880's. I was able to find a map for sale and enlarged it a bit and think the route went north to Selkirk and then to Whitemouth but I was not sure. I want to find the route that went to Whitemouth. Also, I am sure a steamship would have went north on the Red, but can not find info for that either

Thanks so much, once again, for your help.
