The first Barber in Brandon died on 8th November 1951

He was Mr. William Wesley Kidd who was born on the 29th of February 1873 in Palmerston, Ontario.
He arrived in Brandon in 1882, and spent almost fifty years behind his Barbering chair at 913 Rosser Avenue.
His wife Eleanor Maude was born in London England in 1882, and died in Brandon on the seventh of November 1978.
Their home was at 221 Thirteenth Street.
They are interned together in the Brandon Cemetery
