I just returned from the meeting of the Brandon general museum open house at city hall, there was an estimated 40 people plus committee members and members of the press. It was a positive atmosphere with questions, answerers and suggestions flowing freely. One sad point was that no representatives of the Matee or First Nations were in attendance, and they are part of the History of Brandon and we do not want a Hollywood portrayal of their culture.
