General Museum Advisory Committee Update:
5/26/2008 at 11:29 PM
I am pleased to advise you that City Council, at its meeting held Tuesday, May 20, 2008 adopted a resolution with respect to hiring an architect to conduct a comprehensive assessment of Fire Hall No. 1 for use as a General Museum, a Community Archives or a combination of the two, and the requisite funds be expended from the Professional Fees Reserve.
This item has been referred to the City of Brandon Purchasing Department for a call for proposals from architects, this process will take approximately 3 - 4 weeks and will require City Council approval prior to the tender officially being awarded.
