Seniors can check their memories from watching CKX=TV many years ago. I'm Henry  
Stothard and I did sports from 1958 to 1965 before pursuing my career in the USA and am now long retired in Southern California. Others from that era were Doug Johnson who became an anchor in New York City, Don McGowan who worked in Montreal, Barry Dunsmore who became a CBS European correspondent. They are all still alive but others who have gone i:nclude Harold Roberts, Peter Parker, John Wallace. A pretty talented group.

Was just a kid we only had one channel, so I remember watching you do the sports on CKX nice to hear you are still around, I can remember when the CKX antenna fell down and when all the schools sent the kids with the best Halloween costumes to the station for a special televised competition.

Len Fisher & Ed McGill used to do the weather.  
I think his name was Doug Lee. He used to have either 8am news or sports on CKX radio. Also done a commercial for the Chrysler dealership called Brinkley Fredrickson Detective Agency.

Yes, I remember your sports broadcasts. I have a question. I heard a story about your doing a sports broadcast while there was an apple or something swinging above your head but out of camera view. Apparently you did not lose composure and kept going. Fact or myth?

What about John Gilbert, didn't he do the news also?
