I'm wondering if anyone knows who currently owns or maintains the McKenzie Seeds Building on 9th?  
 
Hopeing to do an art project at that site if I can get access. Any tips appreciated.

Seeing how the building appears to be falling down (see http://www.brandon.ca/public-notices-details?var=4521) now is probably not a good time.

A few years back when Brandon was coo-coo for condo puffs, some company was going to condofy it.

It is the decorative ledge(Façade) that is falling down not the building. The ledge is made of wood and covered in copper. They will probably take the whole ledge down eventually because the wood has been rotting away over the years.

as reported by Brandon sun the owner is required to submit a building condition report by sept 15 and a remediation plan by sept 30.  
 
Based on that this may be the start of a bigger issues vs just the ledge. Anyone remember the 8th st bridge and what cause the issues to it to be exposed?  
 
Hope that this is all that needs to be repaired but with this being a heritage building there is a lot to repairing these vs no heritage buildings. This may be a flash back to the Prince eddy situation. should be interesting .

missed the deadline to submit remediation plan. The city is now looking at legal options.
