using Snopes because the right-wing will claim it's all fake. Then again everything not the official right-wing news/media is fake.

Since I couldn't check the link via Facebook, just did a quick search and Snopes was the only one that presented maybe a insight into the link. Do agree one had to check into news sites to understand the slant, sometimes not only the sites, but the authors as well.

didn''t go to any news article, it was just a keyword search for ''daily caller obama calling countries names'' and listed personal posts. And if you do that in Google, it only comes up with Daily Caller articles. Even without a Facebook account you should be able to see what's on that link.  
 
Trump has been calling other nations and leaders names ever since he entered to run for President.

When I started this it was not to question political ideologies, but to question a person. In the last few week I have watched a documentary on George Bush Sr., a person that I would have found a pleasure to vote for, a man with humility, who through his life was forced to question his decisions on different things, a man who served his country, it's people and his family. I've watched interviews with Rex Tillerman, a person who has to deal with the president. I guess there would be those on the far left that would say of him Big Oil so you got to hate him, but he is a diplomatic intelligent person, and through his life has had to learn to deal with people, nations and political systems different than his own. My concern is not politically motivated but is caused by the concern that because he is so hung up on himself he will create more problems than he will fix.  
One thing I learned early in life was insulting people usually caused problems, and although the idea of politically correct does at times bother me, there is a time and place that it is proper.  
What sort of example are we setting for the future if lying and holding the law in contempt is accepted as politically correct.  
Question a persons family, politics, beliefs, race or even country of origin, and you will upset people, and in a country that is as well armed as the American public is, a person like President Trump is a recipe for disaster.  
As for the idea of there will be no centre anymore, I have a little more faith in mankind than that, and if not, then we will have another country, that shares history with some of the other hellholes of the world.

have no issues with Rex Tillerson right now. He seems to be the only sane one and has really remained the silent one in the Trump cabinet. And is trying to do his job. Trumps one judge appointment was an embarrassment, R- Ted Kennedy skewered him with basic legal questions.  
 
Trump has a fanatical cult/religious like following. That can be seen in this thread. Trump is making himself as some sort of god. He constantly claims he's the best and better than anyone. And that's very dangerous as seen in 1930's Germany and Italy.  
 
I spoke in favour of Harper many times during his time in power even when the Liberals on here attacked him over everything. And attacked and battled Liberal views at the same time. Not sure if that would be considered centralist or not. I'm not a fanatical supporter of any party/ideology like some on here are.

The man is a disgrace.

In turn I guess we could suppose that every Trudeau supporter is a pansy that thinks that all the world's problems could be solved with group hugs and unicorn kisses.

First off, no, not everything that comes out of Trumps mouth is "politically correct"....but you know what? You could tell that the moment that he gave his first speech. You know what else? America is tired of the same old smooth talking politicians that get nothing done, cost them money, and run them into debt.  
 
Look at Canada. We have a great politician as PM. Granted he "ums" "ahs" and "errs" more often then a 5th grader, but he speaks like a politician. How many times do we all joke about how crooked politicians are, how they lie, how we don't like them...AND WE KEEP ELECTING THEM.  
 
That's one of the reasons why Trump won. That's the exact reason why we are the laughing punch line to Americans right now. Trumps plan is to put his country first. Justin's plan is to put the world first, tax us, then cry on TV.  
 
Damn rights, I would vote for an average joe, even if he spoke like Trump does, to run this country rather then a politician like Justin.  
 
 
Side note: On his "sh*thole" comment....you know, the truth hurts right? If those countries are so awesome, why are the people from those countries flocking to America, Canada, or other 1st world countries. Their leaders are corrupt, there is too much crime, too much poverty. Sorry to hurt everyones feelings, but there are some sh*thole countries in the world.

One year and the drama continues, happy first anniversary, let's just hope we're not heading into the terrible two's.

Yup, it's the facts that matter.

Canada is so closely tied to the USA economically, when they do well, we do well. Trudeau's carbon tax, billions to the UN for climate change, billions on rushing in 50,00 Syrian refugees from safe countries (Lebanon, Jordon), feminist economic policy didnt help grow the economy. Trump did, lucky we didnt get Hillary.
