1) Selling 20% of our Uranium to Russia  
 
2) Receiving 145 Million dollars towards your foundation for said sale  
 
3) Receiving 400 Million dollars towards your campaign  
 
4) Husband charging double his normal speaking fee in Russia

The enquiry and the press want to ignore the mistakes made by Hillary Clinton. She messed up the Benghazi situation. Many lives were lost because of her incompetence. I guess her sleep was more important than answering her phone. She used her insecure cell phone for much more that personal use: government business and communications were mixed together on her personal phone(s). This was an open invitation for non-friendly governments, regimes, hackers to capture all of her communications while in charge of the State Dept. in the Obama government. Russia, Iran, N. Korea and most certainly the Chinese hacked her emails and texts. The FBI Report that the Russians hacked into government communications, but more recently the Chinese have been ID as having all but 4 of her messages in their possession.

She also used an insecure private server rather than a secure US government server for most of her communication so the cell phone is only a miniscule amount of all the hacked messages.  
 
And so many think that she should have won the election and been the president.  
 
Not a chance.  
 
She would have been much worse than what the USA has now.  
 
All of this will boomerang back on the Democrats.  
 
What a mess she has created for them.

Kind of interesting that most Trump support in this thread isn't actually focusing on defending Trump, but trying to deflect attention away from what Trump has done by bringing up other matters involving other people.  
 
It's almost as though, you know, Trump's position is actually indefensible to the moderate and rational mind.  
 
It's all down to the same old Alex Jones/QAnon/Tucker Carlson cool-aid chugging group to trot out the tired old crap to do their laughable band-aid-and-bubble-gum damage control routine.

Defend trump from what? The fake news media who go into total panic and hysteria everytime Trump says something.  
 
What you are describing is the exact strategy the media and Democrats are using. Blame Trump for everything to cover up the atrocities from the Obama/Clinton & Bush years.

I mean, what you're doing right now is defending him.  
 
I am asserting that he is a bad president, and didn't just cross a line at Helsinki by siding with Russia against his own country, but actually crossed it quite some time before that.  
 
You are defending him, and you're trying to do it by deflecting from the fact that he threw his own country under the bus by crying about fake news/mainstream media and bringing up issues with Obama/Clinton/Bush instead of trying to explain how the president of the US siding with Russia against the US is somehow supposed to be a good thing.

I am seeing some activity in this discussion that is reminiscent of what I have spotted in places like Reddit and some other online enclaves. Where politics and world affairs are the subject, is where this stuff (and these types) tend to show up.  
 
It''s just politics, and it''s not good for us to be driving rifts between one another. That is a goal of certain named nations states, and they use social media as a means to do it. So it''s up to us to keep a watchful eye.  
 
As for the actual thread itself . . . if people haven''t jumped off the Trump train by now, I really don''t know WHAT could make that happen at this point.

I think that it's extremely telling that there was no "fake news" until the US got a "fake president".  
 
Those who think Trump is doing just fine, please imagine if Obama, Clinton or even Trudeau had done or is doing the same things and then gauge your reactions.  
 
If you become angry or even a little upset thinking about those three people doing everything Trump is doing, then you are a hypocrite who is full of hot air and is not worth my time.

Here is a bit of perspective from the other side.  
 

Maybe it's just me but I find it a somewhat a loss trying to defend president Trump, even the White House is finding it difficult to defend his actions and words in the last few days, and has to backtrack. The backtracking has forced him to saying he misspoke, and one word gave everyone the wrong idea, but what about the comment that maybe the Russians should help with the Muller investigation and have Americans travel to Russia to be questioned. Sounded ok over there, but in the real world the President received a wake up call when he tried to push the idea at home.  
Also there is growing concern amoung republicans that the trade war is starting to affect the good old USA quickly, and may undo years of progress in job gains, and access to markets throughout the world.  
As for the idea of President Trump being a genius, not only a genius but a really smart genius,(must be one of those double positive things,as apossed to one of those double negative things), I bring this up in regards to the Muller investigation.  
Now I'm not a genius, and my mom has twelve years of school report cards to prove it, but if someone says I'm an idiot in going to yell fake news, and until the evivence, or facts are presented I'm going to continue to yell fake news, and if you bring the subject up I'm not even going to talk about it.  
If I was a genius, and maybe a narcissist as well I would just remain quite on something like the Muller investigation, I'd just sit there with a silly grin on my face waiting for the conclusion, because in this case if it cannot be proved that no crime was committed it makes Donald Trump unimpeachable, basically bullet proof, and that would ultimately lead to a second term.
