Simonsheuster, I don’t despise pro-life feminists......in fact I would call myself one!

Perhaps I have missed it with so many lengthy retorts. Have you indicated how you are fighting for this cause other than here?

Good questions from Justasoul and myhandleistrain - Yes, there are certainly ways to fight for this cause. I myself like to give to organizations which help create a culture of life and which support orphans in the third world. Mother Theresa's Missionaries of Charity is in my opinion a very good organization that helps in this regard by adopting thousands of young female babies in impoverished areas all over the world and helps pregnant mothers struggling with the possibility of an unwanted pregnancy. Chalice is also another really good organization that helps out greatly in this regard.  
 
At a local level, Villa Rosa is a great place to donate to, although located in Winnipeg, they help young women who are facing issues with a difficult and sometimes unwanted pregnancy by offering a safe and nurturing environment for mother and child. Life's Vision is the local Manitoba pro-life group, and there is also a Brandon Area League for Life, both do what they can to help spread the world that every child is valuable, from conception to natural death, regardless of whether or not they are male or female.

What I think is interesting is just how many individuals have attempted to discredit this topic page by criticizing me personally, relabeling the topic, reiterating their personal opinions on abortion, or suggesting that somehow the topic has only to do with particular cultures and has nothing to do with abortions.  
 
The funny thing about most topics for discussion is that one can almost always come up with counter arguments to the contrary. It is especially easy in a forum type setting to try to discredit others by suggesting that the person holding an opposing view has said things that they haven't, or by writing out negative sarcastic comments and placing them alongside their challengers arguments.  
 
The reality is that ultimately ones position on abortion comes down to their own personal opinion. Both sides can argue until they are blue in the face about how right or wrong it is, and dependent upon which side you want to believe you are almost always going to agree with them, unless you are open to the truth. There is only but one way to know which side is actually right about the issue, and only one way to the truth, and that is through God our Father, and his son, Jesus Christ.  
 
If you are a pro-abortion choice advocate, then you are fighting against the love that God has to offer everyone, including you. You are saying that abortion should be an option ultimately because you want it to be that way, and not likely because of any sort of persuasive argument. You fight for the right to abortion, ultimately because you want it to be that way, it is about you and what you want.  
 
Those who fight with God however fight against abortion because they know of the harm it causes women, the death it brings to children, and the harm that this devastation brings upon the world. The facts surrounding sex-selective abortion that I have mentioned are only but a small piece of this. Those who believe in God know that abortion is wrong not solely because of some persuasive argument, but because they know that there is no objective truth outside of God, everything else is just subjective opinion. Even the truth that comes from following logical principles and the scientific method ultimately flows from God.  
 
If you want to know the truth, then honestly seek it out, seek it out and put aside your own misconceptions, fears and biases, and you will find Him. I will pray for you that you do.

Now it is very clear. The suspicion was there but no evidence to back it up. This has nothing to do with free speech, the ability to have one's own opinion or the ability to discuss matters civilly. This along with other posts by the OP, and others of similar intention so I am not singling one person out, is entirely about someone acting like a religious zealot, looking down their noses from a lofty perch and passing judgement on all of us misguided masses. I, for one, am ashamed of myself for even attempting to engage in a back and forth discussion. I should know better. Well, I pray that I have the strength to steer clear of these pointless endeavors in the future and the wisdom to be able to recognize them sooner. Shame on me.
