Given how many polls there are that suggest >50% Canadians support ending either our combat mission or the entire mission in Afghanistan, I was taking a wild stab in the dark that many of those opposed to extending the combat mission are on here. I would ask if people would be willing to share their reasons for wanting our troops home.  
 
For starters, I wonder if many people are aware of the polls that have been done of Afghan civilians that show >50% of them support the current mission and consider themselves better off than before the invasion. It also shows the majority believe that the mission should continue, and that if foreign forces leave, the Taliban will return. Are people opposed to the mission there aware of this, or does it change any opinions?
