Conrad Black seeking clemency

Some may have seen this in the news yesterday. Conrad Black is asking for a clemency from Bush before he leaves office in January.
Presidents often go on a blitz of pardons at the end of their presidency (Bill Clinton pardoned 140 in his final hours!).
I have a pretty good idea what the answers are going to be for the most part, but in your opinion are his past contributions through the media and authoring enough to justify special treatment or would that special treatment set a bad example? and regardless of your answer to the previous, do you think that this is something Bush will consider?
