I want to throw this idea out there and see what others think ...  
 
Given the propensity of posters here to toss up threads on the arrival of emergency vehicles around town, I wonder if this energy could be harnessed for "good" rather than perpetuating what to some amounts to online gossip. Reflecting on recent threads and some decisions made by Adam the thought occurred to me as I was driving the other morning and passed a woman in a van EATING A BOWL OF CEREAL while driving down 1st - that ebrandon could easily be used to quantify what many identify as a common problem on our roads and streets, and actually do something about it ...  
 
Here's my thoughts:  
 
What would happen if we started a thread here where we could post details of encounters with drivers who are clearly violating traffic laws?  
 
The posting could have a description of the vehicle, the license plate number, a description of the driver, and a brief where, when, and what type of outline of the infraction.  
 
I wonder if having your persistent habit of texting while driving down 18th St put up on ebrandon for ALL to see would help break people of this dangerous and ILLEGAL habit?  
 
I wonder if it would help at ALL to improve the driving habits of folks in Brandon who think the rules of the road apply to everyone else, but not to them?  
 
I wonder how long it would be before such a thread gets shut down? Or spirals into a bash-counter bash thread defending and slamming speeding, texting while driving, and any of the other silly things drivers do behind the wheel ??
