Anyone know if Canadian tire greenhouse is open? What about Home Depot, Walmart?

It is open.. but mostly empty. Sign states that Wednesday they will be getting flowers. But there are evergreens and all you soil needs.

Try going to a real greenhouse like Alternative or the Greenspot to buy your plants.

Some of the plants are a little too expensive

Yes, all garden centres are now open everywhere (home depot, walmart, superstore, etc) and I do love alternative and greenspot but I do agree that they are more expensive

Take a drive to Souris & checkout Sadler’s Greenhouse. So beautiful & they have quality plants. Very friendly & helpful staff!

You can buy the same plant from Canadian tire or even superstore at fraction of the cost, and the same company makes them. Ie proven winners

Walkers Greenhouse east of Rivers (Formerly Marriotts) opens at 11am on Sunday May 6th! Annuals, Vegetables/Fruits, trees/shrubs all ready to go! Also custom built planters for sale as well. 5 miles east of Rivers on Hwy 25, watch for signs!

Been to sadlers, I’ll try walkers this year. Always enjoyed the drive out to rivers

We always get our plants at greenspot. Their employees actually know what they are talking about when it comes to gardening / flowers in different conditions.

Love the green spot, don’t get me wrong. But I don’t find the employees helpful, no different than Canadian tire. I’ve been going there for 10 years and not once have they asked if I need help with something.  
 
This won’t hinder me going there, because I do love it there. But some plants are simply too expensive. To say they have good customer service in order to make it seem a more desirable place to shop is something I don’t fall for. Just my opinion.

I love the greenhouses and I have and will go... but the workers are no more helpful then the bigger stores so why pay the extra?
