good . bad feedback please .

We had one quite a few years ago now. We switched back to a gas one about 4-5 years ago which is still going strong (the battery one lasted only about 5 years). Unsure what we'll do once this one dies (our last gas mower was about 20 years old when we got rid of it when the wheels literally started falling off, we were the 3rd owner).  
 
Pros: doesn't use gas, no emissions while using, quiter than gas (although not quiet per se)  
 
Cons: ours was very heavy to push due to battery weight, hard to keep charged if you don't have a garage (we had to carry very heavy battery in and out of house), battery life may be shortened if you don't keep it properly charged, we had a shorter-than-expected life, but to be fair I'm unsure how typical that experience is.  
 
Both our gas and rechargeable mowers were cheapish ones from Canadian Tire I think. The rechargeable one cost more up front however.

and you likely have a small yard if you want battery powered, then get an electric. I used a battery mower for 4 years and the battery life was horrible. I had to replace the cores in the battery. The charge was hit and miss. Eventually just got sick of the heavy and unreliable mower. So I bought a SunJoe electric off Amazon. It is light as a feather and works great for a city lot. Plus it was cheap and I wasn't going back to gas powered. Gas is too expensive. The SunJoe is a lot of plastic but believe it or not it is durable. And the company actually does stand behind their products.

I love my ego mower, bought last year, so far so good, I get about 4 mows of my 50x120 lot per charge of the battery.  
 
I store the battery in the house year round, hopefully it lasts as the batteries are not cheap to replace, battery is easy to remove, just like a power tool battery, there is a release tab and it lifts out, battery weighs 4.2 pounds, altogether mower is very light and easy to push and lift around.  
 
It bags the grass much better than the system on my old gas push mower, it would always plug up as the entry to bag was small while back of bag was big, the ego has a big open design so grass doesn't clog at all.  
 
Mower is nearly silent and has led headlights, I tried it out once, they're bright enough to mow at night lol  
 
If it dies on me within 5-7 years I might buy one again, if it goes before then I'll probably go with a honda gas push mower.
