They are very easy to care for and like to completely dry out between watering. They actually like to have periods of drought. They are poisonous to people and animals. They are a slower growing plant, mine did well in direct sun and shade so it's not real picky. They are not hardy enough for our winters if planted outside. Direct sunlight does make the color more vibrant.
