Looking for barrels

Hi ebrandon!

I'm trying to figure out where to start looking for large (220L?) plastic barrels I can convert to rain barrels. I know there are some complete rainbarrels for sale as a fundraiser for the Riverbank, but I need like 4 of them so it's a little too pricey for my no-budget yard budget this year, LOL.

Does anyone have any suggestions where to even start looking for them? TIA

in Neepawa. I've bought 4 over the years for 5 dollars apiece. You'll have to clean wood stain out of them. They have removable clamped lids. Drilling a one inch hole in the center instead of a screen works well for a mosquito stop. Go to farm supply store for fittings if you want to plumb a garden hose to it. Store upside with the lids clamped on over winter.

The town of neepawa was selling the blue ones for $10 each early this spring but I don't know if they still are. Worth a call and a drive for that price.
