I'm wondering if anyone could give me some information on community gardens. I think it's likely too late for this year, but I'd like to get a plot for some vegetables next summer and wanted to know if there's an office to contact, where some of them are (know of one by 26th st, & used to be one by 18th st bridge), if there's a cost...do you reapply every year for a plot etc. I have some garden space of my own but would like a bigger area where I can put large/sprawling plants like peas, beans, squash, watermelon and things that I just can't fit in my own garden space. Thanks for all your help!
