I see an advertisement on eBrandon of expansion and new seasonal lots available. My question is for people who have camped there previous or currently have their RV there, your reviews of this RV park? It appears by overhead views on Google maps and Bing this new area is quite open? I am not affiliated with this RV park, but am considering a seasonal lot for the rv. Thanks for your response if you so desire.

We love clear lake so being close is a plus.....but the sites are just too close together for our liking. It was good for the weekend but I don't think I'd want to seasonal there. They have a pool which was nice!

Sporties is a great place for a seasonal. Close to the park. It's a great atmosphere. Family oriented. Nice pool. Well maintained. Great management staff. There's weekly entertainment. Great food with takeout option. The lower area in the middle is more crowded and there is a size limit. Lots of friends and socializing going on. Lots of kids. But there are no spots open in that area for seasonal and there is a waiting list. (although there is a possibility of some openings because these folks have first option at the new lots). The new south lots are very big. There's no trees on the lots yet but the area is surrounded my mature trees on three sides. I believe there's still some larger lots available on the north side as well. Any of the lots outside of the middle area are lease lots. I understand they are available for seasonal but only until they are leased.

If you are looking for a seasonal and have young kids you can't go wrong with sporties!! We have spent the last 5yrs there and our kids are on the go with friends from early morning till late at night. Man tracker, kick the can, swimming you name it....Oh wait.. I didn't mention the video games.. That's right I didn't. The kids seem to get enough stimulation from running, biking, swimming, and laughing. Kicken it Old School one might say!!!

Thanks for the replies thus far! We are empty nesters, so would only be the two of us camping. But, appreciate the comments for families for others reading this discussion and providing information to them.
