Who has the best rotisserie chicken?

Seems like all the big food stores have this now . I like to buy it occasionally for chicken sandwiches or to put in a salad . I do find that some are dry and not as tasty as others. What are your favourite places to purchase ?

Have had from most stores.

Walmart: dry, their jerk one is good.
Superstore: decent size chickens and taste not bad
Sobeys: very good but find chickens are small vs others.

The one thing that I do like at walmart is that you can also buy the chicken pieces, and potato wedges.
When you look at buying one of these chickens raw, and put it in a brine, then put it on a rotisserie at home, you can't do it for the cost of buying one already prepared.
People sometimes question brining a chicken, but it's the best way of ending up with really moist meat.

I think it has more to do with how soon you get them after they leave the rotisserie, they dry out in the warming trays I have got them later in the day and they are never as good as the ones I got closer to when they are put out in the display warmer.

You can buy pieces and wedges at Sobeys as well.

For some reason i like Safeways better if I hear it in the oven before serving. Otherwise it always seems kind of tough or something. Clammy tough, is the best way I can describe it. LOL

While not big enough for a big family, it does feed a small family no problem with enough meat left over for sandwiches or whatever you choose. We get it once in awhile with potatoes and veggies.

I find after eating the ones from sobeys I get thirsty.
Are the coop, safeway, and supertore less salty than sobeys?

coop chickens are my fave! I haven't seen them there the past few weeks with renovations so I've been buying from sobeys west. they are a great deal for a quick meal. remember most stores have a deal where your next chicken is free if they're not available between certain times so don't forget to ask for your coupon if they're sold out!

You can also get half a chicken at Co-op which is great for singles/seniors.
For chicken pieces, Sobey's are far the best. Half the price of Co-op. far less breading and not as greasy.
