As someone who uses Skip way to often, I'd like to express my disappointment in the increasing number of restaurants that are not accepting cash orders via the site. It also doesn't help that Skip doesn't share that detail until you go to check out. We wasted 1/2 hr first putting together an order for A&W on Highland, then trying Swiss/Harvey's with the same result.  
 
It definitely affects where I spend my money.  
 
While I can contact the individual businesses (I will, and hope others will too) I hope this message will reach them as well. I'm sure they must have some reason, but hope they'll reconsider. A&W was our go-to in there!!

How do those work on there? I once helped a restaurant test their online ordering system only to find that "cash order" means pay when you pick up. The order had been submitted. Oops!! This was not on Skip, mind you. I know this isn't the purpose of your post, but I'm just curious.

It works like most online delivery sites where you'd pay cash to the delivery person when they arrive. With Skip you can select 'Delivery' or 'Pick Up' when you enter your address/log in so there isn't any confusion on that part!

I’m sure it’s safer and easier for the drivers with not carrying and have to deal with cash.

I would love to use my debit card but I can’t use that either!!

States that no cash on hand protects the driver and company from theft. Also most delivery services get cash back in negotiations with the credit companies for using their services. But rarely does the driver see any of that extra income.

Help with theft because then people lie and say that your pre paid food is theirs. It's happened to me. Stupid. I won't use my card on that site anymore. Especially when the driver doesn't even try to confirm any info to make sure it's getting to the right person.

(My CU doesn't take part, so I'm still SOL on that option. Lol)
