I've been to a couple of fast food places within the last few weeks and both times I have witnessed supervisors/managers talk so disrespectfully to the employees. Where did respectful workplaces go? I witnessed a young man today get rudely spoken too because the person ahead of us was slower ordering their stuff. The worker got in trouble for being slow. No wonder no one wants to work the minimum wage jobs being treated like crap. This young man was friendly and did a great job with our order! Thumbs up, young man, you did a good job!! Shame on you Mr. Supervisor! Learn to speak respectfully to your employees!

Call the businesses head office and tell them if you see managers speaking to staff inappropriately. Conversations regarding performance need to happen, or no one would improve. But they need to happen in a separate area and definitely not in front of customers. If this was my business I would want to know if my managers were being so unprofessional. If it bothers you, it bothers other customers too.

It is extremely unprofessional to discipline employees in front of anyone other than management, let alone customers! That must’ve been awkward for you and the employee.  
 
Yes, please complain to corporate, otherwise it’ll keep happening.

wish I knew which ones you meant lol, one place I refuse to go into due to sanitary concerns, one I wont go into because of connections to illegal dealings. I have been in a place where the manager was beyond ignorant to a kid working in front of about 10 customers. It took me all of 3 seconds to pipe up and show the manager the error of her ways by making her feel as embarrassed as the kid did. Needless to say she apologized to the kid and the customers when I was through with her. Disgusting behaviour needs to be shut down immediately, these kids get enough flack from customers at times they need support, and encouragement from managers not ignorance."

The lazy workers become friends with the other managers. They work hard to get to management. Now because they're management. They think they're better and everyone should get it just as easy as they did. Not everyone learns at the same pace. Also they quickly care less about the restaurant because its fast food and they think they're above it. I respect anyone that holds a job down so have some respect for your work place. I've worked for fast food places and I never had problems because I was a hard worker and quick learner. Others didnt have it so easy but at least when I personally was working, we always had fun. Be the light and good at the work places people. Feel proud you at least have a job. Take care
