Heritage Co-op has a great variety in their main grocery aisles marked with a blue Gluten Free flag. Co-op also carries UDI and Glutino bread products in the frozen food section near the Deli and meat. (As well as a chocolate cheese cake that is excellent!!) Co-op also carries their own brand of Gluten Free breads and cookies. If you can have Gluten Free oats, Co-op carries the Only Oats products.
Wal-Mart has a limited variety of Gluten Free foods but the bonus is their prices are frugal.
Bulk Barn carries a small selection of Gluten Free products (Kinnicken.... spelled incorrectly but close enough!).
And for restaurants, Canadian Brewhouse in Winnipeg has a totally Gluten Free section (separate deep frier dedicated to Gluten Free). Fish and Chips -- I"m drooling just thinking about all that wonderful wonderful fat and salt
Dominos Pizza sells a Gluten Free crust pizza.
Pupuseria Bendicion de Dios here in Brandon on 34th Street makes corn pupusas that are excellent. Gluten free!
Tana Restaurant on 10th Street is a good place to eat a gluten free meal. Just ask which items have no wheat. The meal comes with injera bread which is gluten free.
Biggest thing overall is to become a label reader of all things grocery and ask, ask, ask at restaurants which products are gluten free.
Some Gluten Free products aren't for all celiacs.
