Lunchables

Most of the grocery stores have little to no lunchables in stock and it’s been this way for a couple weeks now. I’ve tried looking up to see if there is a recall on them but can’t find any information.

Anyone know what’s up with this? I found a couple the other day and by a couple I literally mean two, but again every where I have looked just doesn’t have any.

Saw a bunch at Sobeys today. I stopped buying them because they never seem to go on sale 2 for $5 anymore!

Make a lunchable yourself? A pack of sandwich meat, box of crackers, block of cheese and a pack of mini chocolate bars. You could make enough for the whole week with extra to spare for less money.

My daughter asked for 1 one day at Walmart. I couldn’t believe the price. There isn’t anything in that little package. It’s not worth more than $0.99 imo

I had the same thought, but I suppose the convenience of it being grab-and-go is what's appealing.

My kids think there's not nearly enough food in them anyway.

I’ve started making our own like another poster stated!! I use silicon cupcake cups to separate it all in one container. So quick and easy. The store bought ones are never enough. Maybe for a quick snack but not a lunch!! I sometimes cut the meat in fancy shapes using cookie cutters to make it fun too!! My kid loves them!

I make myself something similar to a lunchable with a deli tray and a bento box! I buy the hormel snack trays. For about 8$ you get enough stuff to make 5 or 6 snacks!
